NO DOMESTIC FLIGHT
Getting to Córdoba requires a domestic flight from Buenos Aires — typically 1 hour each way, plus check-in, luggage, and airport time. That is a full day at each end of a 5-day trip. Entre Ríos is 2.5 hours by private vehicle from Ezeiza. You land in Buenos Aires and sleep at the lodge the same night.

FOUR SPECIES, ONE LODGE
Dove, perdiz, duck and pigeon all exist within the NP Outdoors territory in Entre Ríos. A guest who arrives on Saturday can shoot perdiz over pointing dogs on Sunday morning and teal over decoys in the afternoon — from the same estancia, with the same team. In Córdoba, you need to travel between regions to get even two of those species.

EXCLUSIVE-USE LODGES
Santa Rosa and El Rincón are exclusive-use. Your group books the lodge — the dining room, the guides, the kitchen, the fields. No other groups. Córdoba has excellent lodges, but many operate shared facilities: you may be eating asado with strangers and competing for guide attention. The private-estate experience is qualitatively different.

GOLDEN DORADO FISHING
The Paraná River runs along the western edge of Entre Ríos and is one of the world's great freshwater fishing destinations. A day on the Paraná targeting Golden Dorado — possibly the most aggressive fish in South America — is a 40-minute drive from the lodge. No outfitter in Córdoba can offer this.

THE LANDSCAPE
Entre Ríos is called the Mesopotamia of Argentina — flanked by the Paraná and Uruguay rivers, the province is lush, green and agricultural in the most beautiful sense. Córdoba is productive but dry: flat plains, sunflower dust, a different aesthetic entirely. Hunters who return to NP Outdoors year after year consistently mention the landscape as part of what keeps them coming back.

Do I need a domestic flight to hunt in Entre Ríos?
No. Entre Ríos is approximately 2.5 hours from Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) by private vehicle. NP Outdoors meets guests inside the terminal at EZE and drives directly to the lodge. There is no domestic connection, no second airport, and no lost travel day — you land in Buenos Aires and are at the lodge in time for dinner. Córdoba, by contrast, typically requires a 1-hour domestic flight from Buenos Aires, adding a full travel day at each end of the trip.
Is the dove hunting in Entre Ríos as good as Córdoba?
Córdoba holds the highest concentration of eared doves in Argentina and is the global benchmark for volume shooting. Entre Ríos produces predominantly white-winged dove and eared dove, with fields capable of 500 to 1,500 birds per gun per day. Honest answer: if your only goal is the maximum number of shells fired in a single day, Córdoba can edge us on peak volume. If your goal is a complete hunting experience — multiple species, exclusive lodge, no domestic flight, world-class fishing — Entre Ríos has no peer.
Can I hunt perdiz and duck in Entre Ríos but not in Córdoba?
Yes. Perdiz (Spotted Tinamou) and multiple duck species — teal, rosy-bill, black-headed duck — are huntable in Entre Ríos during the May to August season. Córdoba is primarily a dove destination. Perdiz and duck hunting there requires travelling to different provinces, which means additional domestic flights and logistics. In Entre Ríos, all four species exist within the same NP Outdoors territory and are accessible from the same lodge.
What is the lodge experience like compared to Córdoba?
NP Outdoors operates two exclusive-use lodges — Santa Rosa and El Rincón. Exclusive-use means the lodge is entirely yours: no other groups sharing the dining room, the guides, the fields or the kitchen. Many Córdoba lodges host multiple groups simultaneously. The NP Outdoors lodges are boutique working estancias with Argentine asado, regional wines and an open bar — closer to a private country estate than to a hunting camp.
Which destination is better for a first-time Argentina hunting trip?
For hunters making their first trip to Argentina, Entre Ríos consistently produces more memorable experiences. The combination of dove, perdiz and duck means you return home having hunted multiple species, not just one. The absence of a domestic flight makes the logistics significantly simpler. Hunters who come to Córdoba for the first time sometimes feel the experience is transactional: arrive, shoot, leave. NP Outdoors guests spend three to five days in the rhythm of a working estancia, eating and drinking exceptionally well, and often adding a day on the Paraná for Golden Dorado.
